Hi there! My name is Leah Grace Barack, and I'm so happy you're here - welcome! A little about me - I'm passionate about the power of food as medicine, and that is why I pursued a career in nutrition and a master's degree in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine.
From a young age I had always been interested in nutrition and health. A self-proclaimed foodie, I am adamant that good, healthy food does not have to sacrifice taste. I recognize how difficult behavior changes are, and I am committed to forming positive relationships with my clients to offer education, guidance, and motivation to create sustainable lifestyle changes.
I especially love working with clients on their mental health, and helping them lower stress and anxiety levels, improve their mood, and manage depression using food and lifestyle interventions. I've struggled with stress and anxiety my whole life, so I know how it feels to live every day with these issues. I've seen first-hand how much of an impact food and lifestyle have on these factors, and that's why I love sharing this information with my clients.
In my free time I love cooking, hiking, yoga, reading, trying new workouts, traveling, learning to play tennis, spending quality time with friends, and exploring new restaurants around Portland.
